Application
For transmission of analogue and digital signals in instrument and control systems; use in zone 1 and zone 2
group ΙΙ classified areas (IEC 60079 part 14). Not allowed for direct connection to low impedance source, e.g.
the public mains electricity supply.
Recommended for direct burial acc. to national regulations. For indoor and outdoor installation in dry and wet
locations on racks, in conduits.
PTFE Insulated wire temperature range: –40 °C to +260 °C

 

Construction

Conductor: Nickel plated copper wire 1.5mm2 stranded to IEC60228.
Insulation: PTFE. Three cores twisted into triple.
Colour code: Brown / Black / Blue; with numbered polyester tape under separator tape of the triple screen
Triple Individual screen: 0.05mm aluminium / poyester tape over tinned copper drain wire, 0.5 mm²(7/0.3mm)
wrapped over each triple with 25% overlap with 100% coverage .
Overall Wrapping: at least 1 layer of plastic tape
Collective screen: 0.05mm aluminium / poyester tape over tinned copper drain wire, 0.5 mm²(7/0.3mm)
wrapped over all the triples with 25% overlap with 100% coverage .
Bedding: Zero halogen flame retardant compound LSZH, black
Armour: Galvanized round steel wires to IEC10244-2
Outer sheath: Zero halogen flame retardant compound LSZH, Color: Blue
